Spanning painting, writing and installation her worldbuilding practice looks into the intersections between ecology, spirituality and science fiction to imagine stories that go beyond ‘apocalypse’ as an endpoint, inviting new intimacies between human and other-than-human. Under her ongoing research on the context of ‘Soft Futurism’, Rithika’s work attempts to complicate the hierarchies between nature and artefact, while addressing the social and ecological challenges of our time.

Her work has been exhibited globally in various group and solo exhibitions in London, Rome and Mumbai, with many works placed in notable private collections.

She is currently based in Mumbai, India.
