Spanning painting, writing and installation her world-building practice dives into ecology, spirituality and science fiction to imagine stories that go beyond ‘apocalypse’ as an endpoint. Her bold, adventurous works invite new intimacies between human and other-than-human. Under her ongoing research on the context of ‘Soft Futurism’, Rithika’s work thinks of softness as an aesthetic and method to address the social and ecological challenges of our time.

Her work has been exhibited globally in various group and solo exhibitions in London, Rome and Mumbai, with many works placed in notable private collections.
